What is a contractor landing page?
A contractor landing page is a one-page website with a single goal: get the visitor to call or ask for a quote. It has no menu full of sub-pages. Everything a customer wants to know sits on one page in the order they ask it: what you do, proof that you do it well, where you work and how to reach you.
It is the smallest website that still does the job. For a business that today has only a Facebook page, it is also the fastest upgrade: a real address to put on your truck, your cards and your Google profile.
When a landing page is enough
- You do one main thing: stump grinding, sealcoating, junk removal, towing.
- Most of your work comes from word of mouth or Facebook and you want a professional link to send people to.
- You plan to run Google Ads or Local Services Ads and need a page for the clicks to land on.
- You are just starting out and want to be online this week, not next month.
When you need more than one page
Google ranks pages, not businesses. If you offer several services and want to show up for each of them, one page can only do so much. A fence company that wants to be found for wood fences, chain link and gates needs a page for each. In that case the full website is the right plan.
| Facebook page only | Landing page | Full website |
| Shows up in Google search | Rarely | For your main service and town | For each service and town |
| Visitors need an account | Often asked to log in | No | No |
| Quote form to your inbox | No | Yes | Yes |
| You own it | No | Yes | Yes |
| Founding price | Free | $100 | $500 |
More on that choice in do you still need a website if you have a Facebook page.
What goes on the page, top to bottom
- Headline and call button. Your trade, your area and your phone number, before any scrolling.
- Services. A short, plain list of what you do and what you do not.
- Photos. Real jobs, real trucks, before and after where you have it.
- Why you. Years in business, license, insurance, reviews.
- Service area. The towns you cover, written out so Google can read them.
- Quote form. Name, phone, a few words about the job. It goes to your email.
What does a contractor landing page cost?
Our landing page is $100 for our first 10 US clients and $199 after that, paid once. Hosting, SSL and 6 months of maintenance are included. After that maintenance is optional at $40 a month or $400 a year. You can upgrade to the full website later and we build on what is already there.
